Stevenson Overall Co. dives deep into the American past, deconstructing garments from as early as the 1880’s through the 1960’s for inspiration, reconstructing the best, classic pieces for modern times. Their denim is all crafted using the same single-stitch, flat felled seam method which was originally applied to denim production during the 1920’s. Stevenson produces all of their garments from the best materials available in Japan, often utilizing vintage deadstock fabrics and unique, custom made fabrics on vintage machines. Stevenson isn’t for everybody, and that’s the way it should be. The brand first started in the state of Indiana in the 1920’s but was relaunched in 2005 by Japanese designer Atsu Tagaya. Providing a true artistic outlet for his talent as a designer and his love of vintage denim and work wear.
